AS/NZS 4671:2019
Steel Reinforcing Materials
The primary standard governing deformed and plain reinforcing bar and mesh in Australia and New Zealand. Covers chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, tolerances and marking. All Tiger Struk bar and mesh is Grade 500N Class N.
AS 3600:2018
Concrete Structures
Sets out design requirements for reinforced and prestressed concrete structures in Australia. Specifies minimum cover, lap lengths, development lengths and detailing requirements that directly affect rebar and mesh selection.
AS 1379:2007
Specification & Supply of Concrete
Governs ready-mix concrete supply, with direct relationships to reinforcement cover and exposure classification choices on site.
